Kristin Johnston, B.A., BC-HIS, Owner of Grand Haven Ear and Hearing, graduated from Hope College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and completed additional coursework in Communicative Disorders at Calvin College. In 2000, she earned the Board Certification for Hearing Instrument Sciences, indicating the highest standard for professional competency, business integrity and excellence in serving the hearing impaired. Kristin lives with her husband and three children in Spring Lake and proudly maintains the following affiliations: International Hearing Society, Michigan Hearing Aid Society, American Auditory society, Rotary International – Grand Haven, Better Business Bureau and the Grand Haven Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Gillum is a national expert on hearing loss and the benefits of digital hearing technology.  Dr. Gillum owns several practices throughout the country and, in the last 20 years, has fit more than 20,000 hearing aids.  Today, in addition to his practices, Dr. Gillum heads up the “Gillum Group,” an exclusive organization for professionals in the Field of Audiology and Hearing Instrumentation.  He has been a friend and colleague of this practice for several years and comes several times each year to collaborate with us on different patient care activities.  Grand Haven Ear & Hearing is a member of the Gillum Group, which allows us special discounts on hearing instruments – that we pass along to you every day!
